We stand by the old school say-ing that “a problem shared is a problem halved.” By providing a space to check in regularly within a relaxed setting, we hope to support individual’s on their journey to mental health stability.
“My Space is more than a project—it’s a place where individuals can feel empowered and supported. As trustees who bring both lived and professional experience in mental health, we are proud to back an initiative that understands and uplifts those it serves.
Our experienced team recognises that while our support doesn’t replace clinical care, we hope to ease the burden on NHS mental health services by providing immediate and ongoing support, before people reach a point of crisis.”
Lindsey— Chair Trustee.
We are My Space— an Adult Mental Health Community Group, here to provide support for people suffering with their mental health.
We are a Chorley serving group and the support we offer is run by a team of local volunteers who have both personal and professional experience of mental health…
With Chorley having a suicide rate that is higher than the national average, our aim is to work together to help improve the lives of adults battling with their mental health in our area.
